Tropical Dolphin Research Foundation (TDRF) scientists work on topics related to the behavioral ecology of tropical dolphin species.
Broadly, the research priorities at the TDRF are:
- To increase our understanding about dolphin behavior and habitat use in tropical and sub-tropical environments
- To answer questions that will allow better management and conservation of tropical dolphin species.
Towards these objectives, TDRF scientists are currently working on multiple projects related to foraging ecology, habitat use patterns, control of group movement and the effects of human distrubance .
